Is Glassdoor a good tool for looking at a company's health.

Is Glassdoor a good tool for looking at a company's health.

In my opinion I would say yes.

I look at some of own companies glass door reviews and see my all my mistakes glaring back at me. Cringe.

Here is one. I have to say for the time it was fair. I really didn’t have a clue of what I was doing - I was recovering from myCAMH Visitand doing my best to hold on to my sanity:

iNTERFACEWARE - Avoid at all costs

Over time I have done my best to learn and improve. The negative stories are true though but I am pretty happy that although it has been a bumpy road I feel that I have managed to figure things out. I feel optimistic that Decentralized Company Communication is a fair picture of how we are doing now.

I have to say I personally haven’t found it that easy to learn to teach myself about how to run a company. I had to learn about Emotional Foundations of Communication from first principles and then try to learn how to apply them - with messy results initially.

Glassdoor is one of the best places to go and look inside the soul of a company you are thinking of doing business with. If the staff are happy then chances are higher the company will be pleasant to deal with.
