System Constraints

A company is a complex system made up of people with a number of key constraints on it.

These are the main explicit constraints:

Most companies are for profit and have to exist within the constraints of the global economic and legal system.

Some companies take on external investment which means they can run at a loss for a significant amount of time before making a profit or being acquired.

Others are boot-strapped which mean they have to operate on tighter restraints.

For my company iNTERFACEWARE we exist to enable our customers to take control of their own data.

The culture and language of the people that make up the business.

The market the company serves and so on.
