    • Brilliant book in terms of explaining the theory of bottlenecks and systems. It’s by an Israeli physicist who turned business consultant. It’s written as a novel - and it’s quite a compelling read. It’s applied to manufacturing but as…

  • The Machine - this shows the theory of bottlenecks can be extended beyond just manufacturing but to any process including one which involves humans and communication - ala sales and marketing.

  • The dummies guide to emotional dynamics. Core principles of human communication - this is what the book should be called since it’s actual title might see a little ummm out of place in a business context. It’s meant to be a book about parenting but the reality is that emotional dynamics of a child are not any different to an adult. This book is where I got the kernel of the idea of problem solving from.
