A major part of helping teams to work better is to encourage empathy, self awareness and understanding the impact we have on others.

Drinking from the firehouse is about recognizing the negative impact we can have if we over burden other people with too much information, too many tasks, too much detail. It’s about recognizing the rate at which other people can process information and giving them what they need to know now.
