What is an ideal customer?
An ideal customer is one which gains good value from a product or service. Since they gain value from it they are more likely to be happy about the exchange of value that they get parting with their money for the value they receive.
The profile of an ideal customer will be different depending on the business.
For iNTERFACEWARE an ideal customer looks something like this:
Their day to day business requires building custom data integrations between different information systems and devices.
The needs are custom enough that there are not convenient off the shelf integrations which do exactly what they need to do - i.e. we wouldn’t be a good solution for a individual who wants to sync up their Google Calendar with their Apple Calendar application - because of the shelf integrations exist for that which are free.
They have to be big enough that they can afford to have at least part of a technical person’s time dedicated to doing custom data-integrations
They should not be so large that they have the power just to push those integrations off on to third parties - i.e. they need to do the integrations in house.
If an organization is too small such that they will only do one integration then typically they are not going to be a good customer for us.
