Emotional connection is the core

I think this is a core idea in NVC. Achieving emotional connection actually comes to the heart of resolving many problems since the source of so many issues between people is a lack of connection.

If we feel seen and heard by the other people many problems can be simply solved by this alone.

NVC encourages seeking connection - where you truly understand the other person before you attempt to work on finding strategies together to solve problems.

Another way of saying this is that connection is all about building trust.
