Autocompletion on the iPhone has become super annoying

This is what I think is happening inside many companies. Everyone sees the success of Open AI. Mad panic - generative AI is going to change everything. If we don’t start using our competitors are going to destroy us.

And so there is a lot of solution looking for a problem development going on where developers are trying to apply AI rather than problem driven development which is where companies are doing what the should do which is observe the problems their customers have closely and think about how to solve those problems.

Good product development means being open to receiving and giving.

Every ducking product I use Is bleating about AI this and AI that.

Boring.

Even this Confluence platform I am typing on:

So far I have been unimpressed by the /ai feature in Confluence.

I don’t see the smart companies like Hey talking about their generative AI in their messaging.
