Third party wireless chargers kill iPhone batteries

My tesla has a wireless charger which not only is slow but it has been destroying my battery. My phone is hot enough to fry an egg after I have been driving for while.

So be careful with third party chargers - they are very expensive - replacing an iPhone battery is difficult and expensive.

The problem occurs because of not having the corresponding magnets lined up, heat results.

The symptoms to look for are if your phone gets hot after being on one of these third party chargers - if not it probably is okay.
