SRED Salary for Technical Founder

Make sure the founder’s salary is at the maximum amount to maximize SRED refund from government.

Sensibly the Canadian federal and provincial governments cap the amount that one can deduct for SRED for a technical founder like myself.

Otherwise I could claim all the profit of the company as my salary and get a nice tax discount. There is a maximum one can deduct.

One also have to account for the percentage of time that this person spends on R&D.
