CCPC - is a private Canadian corporation which is controlled by Canadian residents.

If a corporation is controlled directly or indirectly by public or non residents of Canada we lose this status.

This status has tax advantages for:

• Taxation rate - CCPC small deduction rate.

• SRED - better

• Non eligible small business dividend tax credit.

• Selling gives the life time capital gains exemption.
