Batteries close to where you need them

With many more items like iKEA smart bulb controls and motorized blinds it makes sense to think out your battery supply chain in your house.

For me currently I keep my main battery stockpile in my pantry which is the warehouse of my house. But I keep a box like this easily accessible on each floor of my house:

Does it seem like overkill? I don’t think so.

I think it’s great because it makes it fast and simple to deal immediately with problems like on my bedroom I had to resync my iKEA smart bulbs with the controller. Since I had a screwdriver from my local toolbox and a spare battery for the controller it was an easy problem to solve while waiting for the bathroom.
