One should never have to stress about day to day cooking and washing etc. being interrupted to go fetch something.
For me this boils down to:
Document where you buy stuff so there is no cognitive effort restocking.
Have a central dispatch station, for this this comes down to my large closet on my ground floor
Have local ‘caches’ of resources close to where you need them
It’s something in between feng shui and applying supply chain principles to your own home.
