Cotton bath mats for my back and front door make the cat pee pee habit manageable

Initially I hopes the cats wouldn’t pee on cotton mats. But they do. Mainly at the back door but only on the mat next to the door.

This does confirm my theory that the problem is most likely a territorial problem.

Cotton bath mats are a good solution though since they are:

• Cheap

• Super simple to throw in the washing machine

• I have about 10 of them.

I’m hoping that the cats might lose enthusiasm about marking the boundary to their territory if by cleaning up after their solid work to keep the household safe by peeing on the door mat they might not bother.
