This is my setup now. Long way from Here's my standing desk - needs work!

This is a monitor that was recommended a lawyer who helped me. Ron Smith .

I am like Ron and unlike with Tyler's Setup I need a lot of screen real estate - I like to write documents, edit code and see the application I am working on.

Ron is also like me trying to reduce his stress also this year with going to the gym where he connect with his son and reading Stoic philosophy. I too enjoy philosophy ( in simple words I can understand quickly).

I got the SAMSUNG 49-inch Odyssey G9 Gaming Monitor | QHD, 240hz, 1000R Curved, QLED, NVIDIA G-SYNC & FreeSync | LC49G95TSSNXZA Model, Black

Ergotron – HX HD Premium Heavy Duty Gaming Monitor Arm, Single Monitor Desk Mount – for 1000R Curved Ultrawide Monitors Up to 49 Inches, 28 to 42 lbs, VESA 75x75mm or 100x100mm – HD Pivot, White

The Ergotron monitor arm is serious quality. No more droopy monitors for me! I looked at some cheaper products - this is seriously good.

See my A keyboard that was right for Eliot now

I had Peter K hide all the cords:

OLED displays have a reputation for burn in.

@John Qi pointed out that OLED is really good for deep blacks. There is better display technology coming. MicroLED but this does not seem to be widely available yet.

Ron has in his words:

3.5 years as of now and 4 for the one I have at home.
No burn in at my end and it is on 10 hours a day 6 days a week.

Samsung 49" Odyssey OLED G9 5120 x 1440 240Hz 1800R Curved Monitor

Rhys my child pointed out that some people may be more observant of burn in - a lot of reviews complained of burn in. So he is suggesting I go for this monitor:
