Slack - Making it faster to talk to the people you talk to most often

This is how @John Qi helped me set up Slack so it works really smoothly for me. The same ideas could be applied to many messaging platforms like Teams or Spike Email.

There are a variety of ways to make Slack more productive. You can create custom sections with the people and channels you want to pay attention to.

Most of these options are available by right clicking.

This means you don’t need to take your keys off the keyboard

Have a message which is partly written and unsent. The same trick works in many messaging clients like iMessage and Spike Email.
