This is where the power of IguanaX comes in - you have the ability to customize and edit components to do what you need or write entirely new components from scratch.
STEP 1: Make sure you have Git set up
To leverage repositories, set up your IguanaX Git Settings to leverage a Git provider.
STEP 3: Click Edit on the component card, then MAKE A COPY AND EDIT to open the Translator editor
The EDIT ORIGINAL button will be disabled since most users won’t have write access to our templates.
STEP 4: You're in the Translator! To backup your changes in a git repo you'll need to click on the Setup Repository
The cloud icon allows you to set an upstream repository to push and pull changes from.
It's a convenient way to store and collaborate on projects.
STEP 5: Now you can assign or set up a new git repo for your component
The middle area is for convenient access to set up an instance in bitbucket.
STEP 6: Set up a repository
You can select the Owner and fill out the name for the repository. IguanaX will create the repository in your Git service if it does not already exist.
You will get a warning message if the repository already exists.
