Each component can be viewed, started, stopped, and configured through their card. Double click on a component’s name in the list or graphical view to open its card.

Here you will see the status of your component, have the ability to start/stop, and rename the component by clicking

Click View Connections to open the component’s Source and Destination connections:

You can add Source and Destination component connections to your selected component and the changes will be reflected in your dashboard immediately.

Click to modify or add a custom description to your component.

Use the descriptions to get a snapshot view into the function of the component.

Click to modify or add any Tags to the component.

The card view shows the use of Custom Fields which can be used to change the configuration of the component.

In this example, Host and Port are the custom fields for this specific component (these fields can be anything you define in config.json in the Translator).

The bottom of the component card houses development and component storage related information:

Shows how the component is stored in Git:

If not connected as either, you will see a warning message, prompting you to set up your component.

  • Use [ Set Up ] to pull up the Repository Management Screen and connect the component to a repository or configure as a plain folder.

  • Use [ Edit ] to access and edit the component’s Translator.

The HL7 Client example is an iNTERFACEWARE Component. With a non iFW component, there will also be the option to Add Components to Collections here.
