The EDIT ORIGINAL button will be disabled since most users won’t have write access to our templates. If you create your own templates and add them to Collections, depending on your git user permissions within your team, you may have access to edit the original component project.

The cloud icon allows you to set an upstream repository to push and pull changes from.

It's a convenient way to store and collaborate on projects.

you can configure how your component will be stored in Git

With the Repository Management Screen you can set a component to be stored in Git as a self-contained repository or as a plain folder within your Git Instance repository. Use one of the three options to configure your component:

  1. Turn to a plain folder

  2. Create and link a repository

  3. Connect to an existing repository

Using a repository is the recommended configuration.

titleSTEP 6: Set up a repository

You can select the Owner and fill out the name for the repository. IguanaX will create the repository in Bitbucket your Git service if it does not already exist.

You will get a warning message if the repository already exists, click confirm to connect to the existing repository.
