Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL)
For further background on what TLS is and how it works, please see TLS/SSL Certificates and Keys.
TLS is the standard protocol for securing communication over a network through using certificates and keys to establish trust and encrypt data. It was built on the now deprecated SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).
In IguanaX, TLS can be enabled for:
The IguanaX Web Server to encrypt data transmitted between the web server and the web browser.
The Network Client APIs in the Translator for encrypted communication over protocols including HTTP, FTP(S), LLP, and SMTP.
