People often have a hard time understanding the power and speed which comes with an iterative approach to design.
The problem is that we see the end results of many iterative steps without seeing the thought process that led to that end result.
For a really easy to understand example see how I used this mindset with solving the problem of not having my Tesla trunk scratched.
