Translator - Toolbar

The Translator’s Toolbar, located at the top of the screen, provides access to key functions such as navigating scripts, running tests, and managing projects.

1. Navigation

On the top left corner of the Translator there are two quick navigation features:

Component Selector - Quickly navigate to different component Translator projects using the dropdown.
Component Card - Navigates you back to the Dashboard to the Component Card

2. Start and Stop the Component

Start/Stop - (link out to Dev)

3. Add, edit and switch between sample messages

4. Manage the project - make commits and interact with connected git repositories

Source Control
- Commit and Push Changes to Git
  - Using .gitignore to control Git file tracking
- Pull Changes from an upstream repo
- Revert changes, see change history
- Repository Management Screen

5. Execute the script

Script Execution

6. Open and search the Translator's help documentation

Accessing Help in the Translator - rename to Help Index (link out to Admin)

7. Select the language

Language Bar - (Dev will reference this)

Controls how the Translator does code syntax highlighting.

Language is set to Lua by default, but can be changed if you are working in the Translator with different types of data.

For example, if you open a sample HL7 message, the Translator will auto detect the HL7 and change the language bar to the appropriate HL7 setting so the data is highlighted correctly.

You can manually select the language if needed.
