Osmosis is the process of System Equalization in the concentration of substances by the movement of particles through a semipermeable membrane from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration.

This natural process helps to equalize the concentrations on both sides of the membrane. In biology, osmosis plays a crucial role in the functioning of cells, as it allows water and nutrients to pass through cell walls.
