Journal File

A journal file acts as a temporary staging area where all log data is first committed before being saved into the component log files. This intermediate step ensures that log data is captured and protected in the event of interruptions. Once the logs are successfully saved in the component log files, they can be safely removed from the journal file.

This process guarantees reliability by ensuring that no data is lost during unexpected outages. If IguanaX becomes unavailable, the data written to the log files remains intact.

The journal file also tracks queue positions, and upon restart, IguanaX reads the journal to quickly recover, verify queue integrity, and resume operations efficiently.
