In the Translator Project Tree, you can use the File Options Menu, ⋮ on any project file to invoke different actions:
Show Source - view JSON structure of VMD and VDB files only
View and edit the source JSON files of a VDB or VMD schema file.
View Changes - open a diff view of the changes to the specific file and optionally revert changes
The View Changes option will only appear when there is a new uncommit change to be viewed.
Optionally, you can revert changes to the file. If you click Revert, you will be prompted to confirm you indeed want to revert the changes.
Copy to Clipboard - quick way to copy files to other component Translator projects
You can either upload existing files to a Translator project using the Add File option, or you can use copy to clipboard to copy files between Translator projects.
Download - download the file to your computer
Exports to your downloads file as is.
Duplicate - creates a duplicate copy of the file in the current Translator project
Will append “_copy“ to the filename of the duplicated file.
Rename - edit or rename a file name
Quick method to rename files once they are created. This is helpful when using the Shell Adapter to build template interfaces.
Delete - remove a file from the Translator Project
Once you delete a file, you will be prompted to confirm you want to delete the selected file:
