Cats know instinctively like og the caveman that still water is dangerous.
Yellow fin knows this and to protect himself he will:
Drink from toilets - clearly a safer and more convenient source of running water
Use his paw to move the water in a drinking bowl
He doesn’t seem to be worried that it’s the same paw he uses in his litter box
Anyways I got the cats one of these - they love it! It’s got running water and it looks exactly like a toilet bowl - what more could you ask for!
I liked this water feeder so much I bought the company. Just kidding I don’t have that much money.
But I did buy two of them - one for upstairs in my office and one in the kitchen and both cats have be slurping like crazy from these things ever since.
Puff has lost weight and I the cats aren’t drinking from the toilets lately and I appreciate that it’s easier for me since I don’t have to fill their water bowl every time I feed them. Good investment!
