If you are installing multiple Iguana instances on a single server, you will need to perform a custom installation:

 STEP 1: Install your first Iguana X as normal

For reference see Windows Installation and Linux installation.

 STEP 2: Create an iguana.ini file to customize your Iguana instance directory and service details

Please see Create an iguana.ini file for custom installation to follow the Steps 1 - 3 to create a custom iguana.ini file with your desired Iguana instance directory and service details.

Since we are deploying multiple Iguana instances, we’ll want to make sure all of the iguana.ini details are unique!

 STEP 3: Customize the web port

You can use the web.json Web Configuration File or the following command line utility to change the web port. Make sure the service is stopped to change the web port to use the specified port on next run:

iguana --set_web_port 7650
 STEP 4: Create another iguana executable and ini file

  1. Copy and paste the existing iguana.exe and iguana.ini files.

  2. Rename the files to iguana2.exe and iguana2.ini.

  3. Open the iguana2.ini file, change the working directory and service details, then save.

 STEP 5: Install iguana2 as a service

Open up a command prompt as administrator and run the command suitable for your OS:

Example command for Windows:

"C:\Program Files\IguanaX\iguana2.exe" --service install

Example command for Linux:

sudo ./iguana2 --service install
