If you want to share your channels with our team, you can provide us access to the exported cloud git repository containing your Iguana v6 channels or you can export your channels to a local repository.

This is a step by step guide on exporting channels from Iguana 6 to a local repository. The purpose of this is to zip up the channels and send to them to us for a quicker look into the conversion for Iguana X.

STEP 1: Create a blank folder on your machine and copy the folder path.
  • This example is using Windows, but will work on any other OS.

  • Create a folder called LocalRepo and copy its path:

STEP 2: Add a local repository in Iguana 6 with the folder path
  • Navigate to Settings → Add/Configure Repositories then click New Repository

  • Enter in the path to the folder like below and click Save Repository:

STEP 3: Select which channels you would like to export
  • Navigate to Settings → Export Channels

  • Choose which channels you would like to export.

  • Choose which repository you want to export the channels to.

  • As long as there is no PHI in your sample data, you can choose to include these in the export.

  • Click Export selected channels

  • Enter a commit message.

STEP 4: If needed, include one sample message per channel with no PHI for us to use

If your channels contain sample data with PHI, you can choose to send just one message that does not contain PHI to send these separately from the zipped up LocalRepo. Please label them for each channel.

STEP 5: Zip up the folder and send it to us (ex. LocalRepo.zip)

Compress the folder and email it to your iNTERFACEWARE contact or support@interfaceware.com so we can set up an Iguana X environment and test your channel migration.
