File Menus

In the Translator Project Tree, you can use the File Menu, on any project file to invoke different actions:

View and edit the source JSON files of a VDB or VMD schema files, and Help files.

The View Changes option will only appear when there is a new uncommit change to be viewed.

Optionally, you can revert changes to the file. If you click Revert, you will be prompted to confirm you indeed want to revert the changes.

You can either upload existing files to a Translator project using the Add File option, or you can use copy to clipboard to copy files between Translator projects.

Exports to your downloads file as is.

Will append “_copy“ to the filename of the duplicated file.

Quick method to rename files once they are created. This is helpful when using the Shell Adapter to build template interfaces.

When renaming a file, do not change its extension (e.g., .lua, .vmd, .vdb). Altering the file extension may result in unintended behavior.

Once you delete a file, you will be prompted to confirm you want to delete the selected file:
