Keyboard innovation never stopped

Keyboard innovation never stopped

You could write pages and pages on the topic.

There are all sorts of crazy ones out there.

Key questions to ask when you consider a keyboard are:

  • To what extent is typing speed your bottleneck? Yoda say “smart programmer code in little words”. Typing may not be your bottleneck. For me I write a lot, so it matters to me.

  • Do you have health conditions?

    • For I have some muscle problems developing in my left hand. Not as severe as some people.

  • How able are you to learn a new type of keyboard?

    • The more different the more time it will take.

  • How far from the ‘average’ are you.

See Web Developers and On Average by Jigar Mehta on this topic of the mythical average.

Anyways that hopefully gets you started on the journey to find the keyboard right from you.

I found A keyboard that was right for Eliot now .
