Salesforce

Saleforce is an interesting product.

You can build custom data schema (objects) and custom screens which means you can quickly bring to market a complete solution. So in that sense it’s pretty awesome if you are startup and need to get product to market quickly.

Effectively this allows you to solve a number of bottlenecks quickly to bring a product to market. In many ways this analogous to Iguana X. Iguana X likewise allows you quickly bring to market solutions which would otherwise take a long more time.

I think Salesforce and Iguana diverge, that we recognize our value is in helping to eliminate bottlenecks. It’s part of our mandate to help our customers get their data flowing better and better. We exist so our customers can create flow with their data and eliminate bottlenecks.

We found that customers that use Salesforce and start to use Iguana, generally begin to be less dependent on salesforce. They will tend to use Iguana to route their data in the manner they need to and it is usually more intuitive and convenient.

Some organizations have even switched to using an apparently ‘retail’ platform like with Iguana - in fact this our companies own journey.
