Don't over do code conventions

I think this is common mistake that happens with inexperienced overwhelmed software managers. Think about how most people become a software manager - they probably were a good coder and now as a result of that success they have to manage other people coding and the first problem is - people don’t code as well as I do! Nooooooo! So how do solve that - well I probably don’t communicate that well so instead I will enforce my authority by building up some arbitrary coding conventions:
