Product X can handle any type of TCP/IP protocol

In Iguana we hard coded HTTP and LLP protocols into the product. In Product X we have built an open architecture that allows us to support customers using not only these protocols but any TCP/IP protocol you can imagine.

I don’t think we should stop there. I see no reason why we shouldn’t also support UDP. Why would we want to? Well it comes down to integration with devices. It turns out from my exploration of my sleep issues that if you get fed up with crappy device integration via the cloud some vendors actually publish native UDP protocols which would allow Product X to interface to devices of any sort without any type of intermediate layer.

See framing protocols.

See how we got to this point.
