Why did we move from Python to Lua?

Some of our customers were not too happy about this choice.

• One of the problems was we could never guarantee 100% that a change in python wouldn’t break out customers code.

• There was the performance issue. Mainly an issue for Windows, but Windows is our most popular platform.

• The Python API is not safe by design. But the the Lua API approach is.
