Number of angels that can fit on a pinhead discussion

When someone starts discussing how their design solves a theoretical problem that we don’t yet have then it’s time to change the conversation. Shift the conversation to talk about something more concrete and tangible - i.e. a real problem that can actually be understood.

This is another facet of looking at the fact that as designers we won’t likely do well trying to solve a problem we don’t understand.
