Access control refers to the process of regulating and managing the permissions of users interacting with Iguana based on their roles and responsibilities - this includes controlling who can login to the Iguana application, what actions they can perform on the system or component level, and what data or resources they can access within the Iguana.

With Iguana, access control can be managed in two ways:
