I use Belairdirect for my car insurance. Their agents are not paid commission. This reminds me of Tesla - their service technicians are also not paid commission

It was super fast for me to get through. They have a good app and website and January is a slow month and I rang in the morning.

Their app gives me the option of tracking my driving and allows me to earn a discount.

They will do car insurance for a business but they do keep their focus on home and car insurance and were not going to offer me products outside of that core focus. I respect that - it makes sense.

I have a really good experience - the insurance consultant took his time with me. He explained everything very well - he was professional and it sounded to me that he was being treated well by his company. This is what I look for this type of service. i.e. a premium product experience.

  • The policy insures me when I hire rental cars - so long as they are not luxury sports cars - 60k limit.

  • Tesla - gets roadside assistance so I don’t need that.

  • 4 year depreciation coverage - seems worthwhile.

  • $30 a year - no to waiver deductable for $1000.00.

  • 2 million coverage - good for hitting the van of 5.

  • No more that 6 months outside of Ontario.

  • There is a lot of insurance fraud.

  • 2777 per annum

  • 2864 per annum is what I got once the coverage was for 2 million.
