The directory in which you install Iguana X IguanaX is the Application directory.

The location can be chosen by you or according to the operating system default:

By default, the Iguana X IguanaX Windows installer places the application in C:\Program Files\IguanaX\.

~ is a short cut for the home directory of the user account that Iguana X is running under.

On MacOS when you see a pretty application icon in that folder, it’s actually a hidden directory called an application bundle. For Iguana, the bundle is called IguanaX.app.

You can enter this bundle using the terminal program.a few methods:

  • You can right click and “Show Package Contents“ to reveal the iguana executable which like on Windows and Linux has all the dependencies packaged.

  • You can also enter the bundle from the command line using the terminal:

bundle.mp4

If you need to locate it, IguanaX displays your Application Directory in the Settings About page (Iguana executable).

The Application Directory is also where you can create an iguana.ini file to customize your Iguana X IguanaX installation.
