Create, modify and remove permission groups.
Press the [EDIT] button to enter “edit mode”

Press the [ADD PERMISSION] button to create a new permission group

Use a hashtag in the Description field to name your group, like #my_group

Keep in mind as of April 2023 Permissions have not been implemented as part of Iguana X.
The general design we are intending to follow is to have matching rules. The first column, the description means that users with the matching #hashtag in their description will have the privilege given to access components and servers in the last two columns.
The matching rules are implemented using “glob matching expressions”. For example
“*” will match everything
“b*” will match everything starting with “b”
You can now assign permissions to a user by adding the group hashtag to the user>description
Click the trashcan icon to delete a permission group
